"After-Exam" Holiday Trip to TW!!!

YES!!! Exam is over!! Final Year report submitted!!! Pass or not, there's nothing I can do anymore, so Imma just gonna enjoy CNY and then the long-awaited (planned since last Nov) Taiwan Holiday trip with The BFF!!!!

Miss shopping & eating at Ximending.....

Missed Star, Peter & Uno.....Missing Wendy (the one standing at the back with me).... Last seen her in Nov'11 when she came to S'pore for one of her friend's (bottom leftmost pretty babe) Hens Party... =)
Totally missed the new friends I made during my Taipei trip last year April... Janice, Lulu, Viola....

Been to Taipei with The Bff in Nov 2010 and last year's April was Co. Incentive trip... This time, am still going with The Bff, but we will be going to Hualien, to visit ChingJing and HeHuanShan!! Snow, rare in the rest of Taiwan, is relatively common on the mountain during winter months. We are hoping that we are lucky enough to see snow! *keep fingers crossed*

Heart my bff.... We are each other's "travelling companion".... Luckily we are both quite chin chai so won't have any conflicting ideas when we travel! =D

I love my holidays.... I love my life!!!

It just seems like it was "yesterday" when I just celebrated my last birthday!!! Gosh, another year has just passed!!!! I really enjoyed myself more each year!!!

1st bday pressie of 2011 - from my little sis!! Love it!!

30 Sep: 1st (advanced) birthday celebration @ Yello Jello, together with SL (actual day) & AG (advanced)! First time celebrating birthday together wif these 2 babes!! We had so much fun!!! 2nd pressie from "Mr J's GF"!!! Delivered to office!! Thanks WT!!! 01.10.11 - 3rd pressie from "Mr Nice Guy".... Doesn't really had much flair for choosing a gal's gift thou'.. But still outta give him credit for trying... Really appreciate it... =D 4th pressie from Ivy!!! =) She said she gave me this to let myself be "reminded" of Paris and then work twds the "goal" of travelling there someday soon.... 02.10.11 - Celebration with family!!! My little sis decorated the cake for me!! I helped abit too!!! =P Ang Pows from the family members!!! =) 03.10.11 - 5th pressie from the sweet cousie "littlemscheeky"!!04.10.11 - Bday gathering for Elmo, Kaya & Moi @ HV Breeko! The Canele cakes are yummy!!! Brought it to share wif sistas when we meet up at HV-Wala Wal for Moi & cousie-Phy's advanced bday celebration! Sweet thots from Karish-sis! Made me & Phy wear the bunny-ear headband & bow and everyone was like staring at us, thinking we were doing some Hens Party!! =P

Was going to Seoul for Co. Conf in Nov, so Godma decided to give me KRW ang pow!! =)

I had many great bday celebrations in 2011.... I got many great gifts..... The years down the road will always be as great as it can be.... I'm sure..... Cos I have alot of good ppl around me, what else can I ask for??? (Other than World Peace as well! LOL)

"I love shopping... I love brands... But I only spend what I can afford....."

I only own a few branded items.. I love PRADA, but couldn't bear to part with too much $$ to get a bag... So i only own a few smaller items... The small drawstring pouch was a gift from my Godma and the wallet, it was my FIRST Prada, a gift to myself with my first paycheck from my temp job I had after O Levels!

The new blue wristlet is this year's X'mas gift from Ms P... She was reali generous this year... She got Prada items for 5 of us!!! Happy much... She actually got me the same pouch but pink color, but since I oredi had a pouch, she told me to go ahead and change it for other item I like... =D Thou the pouch and wallet are old already (past a decade old), they're still really good to use... The pouch is my "lunch bag" and wallet, I'm still using it everyday... Couldn't bear to use the new wristlet yet thou', probably gonna keep till CNY... =)

Went to the Prada at MBS.... Happy with the Prada item changed... Anyways, X'mas is over, long holiday has ended... But looking fwd to new year's long holiday... Got alot of X'mas pressies this year, but given out alot more too!! I love X'mas becos it's the season for giving... For sharing love & joy with family & friends... all y love ones.... I feel blessed... Heart them all....

Okay, gotta really get down to finishing up my Marcomms assignment which I die die have to submit by tmr evening... =( Good luck to me....

Oh gosh!!! Days swing by in a flash and it's mid-Dec oredi.... My X'mas list's not done, pressies not wrapped, Marcomm assignment due in 10days not done, FY Report due in just 4 weeks not done... Tonnes of work to clear before Month end.... Not enuf rest, not enuf festive mood... So much irritating stuffs/ppl ard..... Arrggghhhhh!!!! It's so damn tiring!!! Haizzzzzz!!!! =_=

But nonetheless, the above sentence somehow "motivated" me.... I'm sure I can do it, I will survive!!!! I'm not that smart or strong, but I know I will get past it.... I hope... LOLx....

Bag full of pressies to wrap but I'm so lazy to do so!!! Can someone help me pls!?!?!?!? Orite, btr just stop ranting & GET DOWN to doing it!!!! It's mid-Nov already... Since the beginning of Nov, it has been all crazy for me... Rushing work till late almost everyday, travelling to Seoul for 6 days then HK for 4 days... Back and fallen sick yet still have tonnes of work to rush and also school assignment deadline to meet.... Imma gonna collaspe soon!!!!!

But nevertheless, I did had a great experience travelling to Seoul for the first time... and a really fruitful shopping trip toh HK wif the BFF & our "old" friend..

I love travelling... Most ppl does... I haven't been to alot of places but I tend to travel mostly on short trips to repeated places....

This year, I have been out of country, via Air, Sea or Land...

Via Land: Needless to say, going JB for the cheap seafood & some shopping!! Kinda lost count how many times I went this year oredi... Then I went Genting with the BFF in Jun!! My trip to Genting, after 15 long years!!!! Quite a good experience...

Via Sea: Well, Batam seemed to also become my "2nd residence"... I think I have went to Batam, easily like 5 times oredi.. In Jan, Apr, May, Sep and the Oct.. But I also went to Bintan, for the first time, to celebrate GC's bday... The Villa we booked was great! But everything else were just.... -___-

Via Air: HK/Macau in Feb, Taipei in Apr, Ho Chi Minh in May, Bkk/Phuket in Jul, Seoul and HK just within 2 weeks ago....

I love to travel with friends, family... To bond, to enjoy to relax....

Not that I'm rich or what, but I practically spend every month's salary on travelling..... Well, difference ppl indulge in different things in life... Some ppl like to spend on expensive gadgets, some like to spend on branded shoes/clothes/handbags etc... But for me, I don't really spend on branded goods and i definitely don't indulge in expensive gadgets!!! So, all my $$, goes to travelling... =)

Well anyways, to each & individual... I don't really bother what others say about how I spend my $$.. Hey, I earn my own keep, so I spend it the way I like it... You too... It's individual choice of lifestyle yea... ;)

Life is short, we should just learn to appreciate what we have, live each day well, love ppl who loves you.... Stop being so grouchy, stop comparing, stop complaining abt every single thing like the World owes you a living.. It doesn't ok.... The world doesn't stop revolving for any one person... No matter what happens, life goes on ya... Most importantly is to leave a healthy, happy and meaningful life!! Cheers!!!

P.S: Sometimes when I go travelling, I tend to miss the times we spent travelling together.....

Have been so so so busy lately.... With so many activities.... So much work to do too..... Didn't have time to update so many things...... TIME, i need you so badly..... =(

Sometimes I just feel so tired.... I'm sure many does too.... I so wanna go for a long beach holiday where I can be lazing on the sand with nice food & cold beer...... Wish..............

A very outdated post... Didn't seemed to be able to get down to completing this entry...

Couple of months back I was pretty busy watching these 3 TW drama.. Yes, I know I'm so outdated for "Hi, my sweetheart", but it's still a definite worth-to-watch drama!!! SO nice can!! Actually I feel like watching it again.... =D

The drama "Love You", the storyline is damn superb!!! What a cute love story!!! Still feels so into the show even thou' it's oredi finished for awhile already... Maybe I should find some time to watch it again?? ;)

As for "Sunshine Gal", the storyline's not too bad, thou' not fantastic... But with Rainie Yang and WU SHUN (!!!!) in the show, it's definitely worth taking the time to watch!! =P

Exam's over.... But still, my heart's feeling abit heavy..... Memorised and apply the wrong theory on a whole 25marks question... Bye bye to that... I should've done better... Should have tried harder.... But.... one word.....

And yes, there's other things in life that makes us disappointed... Lots of them actually.... =_(

Maybe sometimes we should just "embrace" disappointment... And treat it like a "gift"..... -__-

There's this saying "好心被雷劈", in English, it means something like "try to be good, but still get strike by lightning".... Such irony right.... -__-"And then when you do bad, the saying goes "天打雷劈", which is saying something like, "heaven will strike you with lightning cos u did bad".....

Short Bangkok/Phuket Getaway...

So the holiday trip is over..... Not satisfying as I still end up with too little time to shop, eat & club.... Furthermore, it was 'wet season' and there was occasional rain/drizzle... But overall was still quite a good trip in BKK, as I managed to catch up with a good, old friend who lives there.. And he was kind enough to company me and my bffs to shop around the whole day and even carried my shopping bags for me! How nice is that! =D
I wanna go back to Bkk again soon, I hope...

We chose a boutique hotel this time round, not too hard to find, but not easy thou' cos it's located @ one of the small alley entrance.. But overall, worth staying! Mine's the smaller room as I'm staying alone but my bffs booked the exec room which is 1.5times bigger than mine and is on the top floor!

Sadly I didn't have much time to eat more of the nice food in Bkk... Only managed to savour these few....

Bffs... We actually bought similar Mickey-Mouse printed T-shirts from Platinum and wore it out together! Isn't it cute?? LOL...

And then I head over to Phuket to meet The Buddy, for his "bday-holiday".. Was bad in Phuket, rained almost every now and then... The hotel room was actually the place I spent most of my time!! But luckily the room was nice enough....

Actually went to try Fish Spa for the first time ever! 100baht for ten mins!!! I freaked out and almost like fainted on the spot can! I screamed like duno wat and broke out into cold sweat!!! -___-" I gave up after 6mins.... =X

See, it rained most times and we practically have to just walk with an umbrella along the streets... The rain come just as sudden and go off just as suddenly... ZZZZZ

Alright, am gonna head off to Genting on an impromtu weekend getaway with bff & 2 other gfs... Gals weekend getaway! So looking forward as I've not been to Genting for like more than 10yrs already!!! Okay, till then..... Shall update again..... =)

HCM Trip 27-31 May'11

Had 4D3N of non-stop feasting & boozing! Yay!!

This is the 4th time I've been to HCM, since my virgin trip in 2008.. Am like going there once a year... And this trip, by far, is my most enjoyable HCM trip... Thks to my companion and especially to the "host"..... I'll be back, soon! =D

The next holiday trip to look fwd to is barely another 3 weeks to go... Can't wait can't wait!!! It's gonna be another shopping-spree, feasting and boozing relaxation!!!

And where am I gonna be...................????????

Yep, that's right!!! To the "Land of Smiles"........

Am gonna head to BKK for shopping and to look up some friends over there... Then I'm gonna head over to Phuket to join my friends for some sun, sea & sand and not forgetting, ice-cold beer!!! =D

Well, assignments submitted, exam's over. Am now just waiting for the "verdict" of this first sem. No point in thinking about it anymore, cos all's been done, pass or fail, for me, really just depends on luck now.. LOL.. So let's just enjoy myself right now...

Exam ends on 11th May and I've been packed with activities till I don't even have time to update this blog-gy...

Bintan weekend getaway with Family & close friends for GC's advanced Bday celebration... Batam/JB same-day-trip with BFFs for KP's Bday celebration... Dinners, movies, drinks sessions... And this Friday, is gonna be holiday-ing with IL, our first time on a holiday trip together... I'm sure it's definitely gonna be fun, cos we both have the same character, to just have fun... =D

Kinda looking fwd to this trip, really.... Initially I had planned to go on my own, cos afterall, I've been there a few times oredi and the place's small so it's not difficult getting around... Anyways, with IL going wif me, we're gonna enjoy feasting together, it's definitely gonna be fun!

Bintan 14-15 May: Advanced Bday celebration for GC! Had so much fun in the private pool, BBQ-ing, drinking & playing games! It's just so great to have great family & buddies...

Batam/JB Day Trip, 21 May: Post-Bday Celebration for KP! Had a great day massaging, hair-spa-ed, had A&W, then sumptous seafood dinner @ JB, followed by drinks session at Club July! What's life w/o great pals! =)

Now let's just look fwd to yet, another great holiday this Friday then! =) I wanna eat all these delicious food again!!! How to resist them!! That's y GC always tell me "Fat-Die-U" ah! LOL...

About 7th of May....

May 7th, such a significant day to me, since 2010 which was just a year ago... It marks a very very important point of my life where I made a very very big & important decision which directly/indirectly changed the lives of 2 persons.... be it for the good or for the bad, the choice was made.... and I am relieved and glad now, that I had made the right choice back then...

You have moved on, with a better career perspective and met a better 'one', I'm happy for you, from the bottom of my heart... you have progress in life, and so do I... This was the outcome I had hope to attain when I made the choice a year ago, and I feel good about it.. I hope you have also came to understand how all these came about... As we all know, in order for something better to happen (but sometimes may be worse scenario), sacrifice has to be made.. *Never try, never know*.... Am glad that my efforts hasn't gone down the drain... =)

I have never accomplished so much in this one year, which I told myself I should have done in the past 5 years... But at least, I did them all in this one year now... Not proud of myself, just felt that I have not wasted this one year... And I will never waste anymore of my time, on things which I felt I should go ahead to do... Life is short, don't let it just fade away with a heavy and full-of-regrets-heart... Do things that make you happy, that makes ppl around you feel happy too... It's not difficult, trust me....
*Live for the moment, Live for now... Take charge of our own lives... Be Happy!!!*

This 7th May, in 2011, so happened to be another very important day to me, in fact, to all fellow Singaporeans cos this was the first time in so so so so many years that many of us got to vote for our VERY FIRST time.... And the votes, our choices, that may or may not make a difference to all of us, to our homeland, Singapore...
I had been dealing with so much stress with increased workload (hope I can catch up on work after I'm finallly done with exam on the coming Wed), on assignment deadlines (glad that i'm finally just finished with my 2nd individual assignment to be submitted later) and with pressure of getting ready for exam (really hope I can managed to study as much as I can for the 2 days before the exam)....

And to make matters worse for me for the past 2 weeks, the intensity of the elections everywhere, tv news, newspapers, facebook, twitter and other online social media network,etc.... Talk abt the 'power of internet'! Personally, Im not someone who knows or rather, is interested in politics. I mean, I love my Country, I am proud to be a Singaporean, but I do have my fair share of praises, as well as complains for things that goes on around here, that affect me or anyone else.

I'm rather neutral in this aspect, with my main complain, only about the public transport system. Wellm I'm not in any mood to elaborate the details but I'm sure most of us who uses the public transports know what problems/issues we all are facing!!! *just the thought of it makes me have that irritated & helpless feeling*

Anyways, elections over, results are as expected. But the only thing which I feel bad about, was when I read about how we lost a great PAP & Opposition MPs cos of this election..... Sigh..... But anyways, I have no further comments on this too, cos I don't really know much, just read about all these through news, internet and all that...

Afterall, whatever the results, our lives still goes on.. Some ppl will just go preaching about how we should all be concern about our nation, our future ahead, for kids, housing etc... I really duno man, does it help if I keep thinking about all these issues?? I doubt so you know... So what can I do, almost nothing, except to get on with my life, study hard, work hard, be healthy, happy etc... Isn't this better??? Well, in my personal opinion, this is better for me, my family and it's all cool... =)

Now I shall just pray that my exam will go well this coming Wed.. After that, it'll be all relaxing, fun and enjoyment time!!! Well, once the exam is over, there's nothing much I can do except to wait for results to be released right... If I fail, means I'll just have to decide between quitting or working harder when I repeat the module... And if I pass, then it calls for a celebration, after which I will make sure I will try to work hard for my next semesters!
Alright, that's all for now... Just finished my 2,500 word assignment and here I'm writing so much again.... LOL... I better just go get some sleep... Conserve energy.. There's just so much ahead in this month and next month, awaiting for me to 'accomplish'.. Am so looking forward to it all!!!

"Pictures speaks a thousand words"..... Judging from the overwhelming pictures of cute kitties that I posted, it's pretty much self-explanatory... YES, I luv kitties... I still rem when I was a kid, how I liked playing with stray kitties and on some occassions, "brought" them home, only to get lectured by my mummy... LOL... End up, still have to let the stray kitties 'back into the streets'... =(

Many many years ago, I tried keeping a kitty that my kitty-lover-ex-neighbour gave... Only to have it 'ran away from home', in barely few weeks... Cos that kitty was strayed, so it didn't really like to be domesticated I supposed... =X

I love cute little animals, I really do... But not really allow to keep them, mummy doesn't really allow.. So do GC, who is pretty much NOT animal-friendly!! LOL....

Some day, if I ever have my own home, I will want a pet, preferably a few.. But that's if I can afford... =)

It's less than 6 months since my first 5D4N holiday trip to Taipei with Bff.... And come next Thu, I'm going Taipei for holiday again!!! But this time will be with colleagues, for 4D3N Co. Incentive Trip!! Yay!!! Am praying for the weather to be cool cool and not rain... =X

Happily indulged in "50岚" (which is Koi here in SG) on my first trip last Nov... We had like approximately 2 cups each day! NO supa-long Q (in fact, there's hardly ANY Q at all!!!) and it's much cheaper!! Simply walk past 50岚 at our convenience, ordered within 2mins & got our drinks within 5 mins!!! Hapi or wat!!??!?!!! My colleague oredi reminded that we HAVE to go 50岚!!! It's a MUST have anyways! =D
Another must-have is their flavoured-shaved-ice (like our ice-kachang & all that)... Theirs have loads of variety and their shaved-ice are SOOOO fine de!!! Nice luh!!!! ;) And also must eat are the taiwan-sausage, duck tongue, pig/duck blood, oyster mee-sua etc, etc, etc!!!! I'm so gonna put on loads of weight again after this trip.... Gosh! When can I ever slim down wor... LOL... =P
Owwwww... It's past 12 midnight again already!?!?!? Lately have been feeling sleepy so damn soon! Can't even hang on till 2am... Sighhh... Old oredi luh! Sad much!!! But I still have to rush 2 assignments which are gonna due less than 3 weeks time!!! HOW!!!?????!!!!!!! Gonna work REAL hard this weekend and get them done, at least half of each! Bless me... -_-"

I have been listening to this song repeatedly every night, since bff-Jess sang this song during our ktv session couple of months ago... It was after the local drama " 拍卖" aired on TV, then I know this was the theme song for the show!! I didn't have the time to watch the drama when it just started showing, as I was pretty tied up with a new semester in my part-time studies... But after I "settled" in, I then managed to get home before 10.15pm after classes, to watch 拍卖 and before I knew it, it's already last episode tonight already!!!! =(

Luckily this show had a great, happy ending... I hate sad or tragic endings.. Make ppl cry only... ='(

A new footwear survey from ShopSmart, a Consumer Reports publication, interviewed over 1,000 women and found that the average woman owns 17 pairs of shoes and spends around $49 per pair. Of those, only three pairs are in regular rotation. Sounds about right, doesn't it? Some shoe-crazed ladies right now are shaking their heads in disagreement. Well, you may not fall in the norm! 13 percent of women have over 30 pairs of shoes, not including sneakers. Feeling better now? Here are some more cool stats from the survey:

• Women buy around three pairs of shoes each year

Me: Yes yes!! I think i probably buy ard 5 pairs a year??? =D

• 39% of women prefer flats more than any other shoe

Me: Flats are more comfy but my shoes are mainly heels as they can make me look taller and slimmer, hopefully... LOL

• 33% have spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes

Me: Not for me, on average I spend ard 30-35 bucks on a pair... think the most ex I've ever spent on a pair of shoes is ard 80bucks bah....

• only 25% have worn shoes that are 4″ or higher

Me: I supposed so! 3 & a half inch heel is oredi quite a "killer", so 4"??? How to walk??? Dun think I even own a pair that high too...

• 46% have bought an ugly pair for comfort, while 60% endure pain for pretty shoes

Me: I would rather just endure pain for pretty shoes... So I probably won't buy ugly pair for the sake of comfort... haaaa....

• 61% have carried comfy shoes in their bag to change into

Me: Carry another pair of shoes in bag is like damn inconvenient, esp when my bag's oredi damn heavy usually... But I have a pair of slippers & another more comfy lower-heeled shoes in the office to change into.. ;)

• 48% have had shoe-related injuries

Me: Well, I did almost twisted my ankle a couple of times due to the high heel I wore.. Probably have slipped once or twice too!! -_-"

• 19% shop to cheer themselves up

Me: This DEFINITELY works for me... when I feel moody, retail therapy is the BEST solution (other than "hapi-hr")... LOL

• 29% shop for shoes online

Me: Can't do this, cos my feet's kinda odd & ugly shape... HAve to really try the shoe to know if it fits well.... =X

• 14% have hidden at least one purchase from their spouse

Me: Well well... guilty as charged... BUT not hiding from spouse, but from my mum & sis!!!!

• 51% notice the shoes others are wearing

Me: I will automatically check out what others are wearing and make mental notes on what's nice, so that I can look out for it on my next shoe-shopping... =)

• 28% feel shoes make the outfit

Me: For sure! Shoes play a very important part in our overall dressing... Usually I try to match my shoes to accessories or belts or bags... Otherwise, will be to match with the top OR the bottom...

Part of my shoes, packed in the too-small-for-more-shoes cabinet in the living room... Thes rest, I'd to squeeze into the storeroom and another shoe rack near the door.... I really don't have alot of shoes you know... It's only about 35-40 pairs I supposed....

I LOVE shopping, especially for shoes!!!! It is really really my "WEAK spot", totally... I'm actually sorta "banned" form buying shoes cos I hogged up so much of the shoe cabinet space, as well as the space in the storeroom, that my sis said she's gonna "charged" rental fee for my shoes if I'm gonna buy anymore... LOL... Honestly, I don't think I have alot of shoes (I'm sure there're much more ladies out there will really ALOT ALOT of shoes)... Plus, all my shoes are NOT expensive ones!

And below is my latest "collection" from Susbstance (this my only my 2nd pair of shoes from them)!!! It was 'love at first sight' with this! I LOVE the colour, love the cutting, love the wedge heel, love the comfort!! Susbstance shoes are really quite worth buying!! Pretty reasonable pricing.... It's gonna be my fav brand, for now.... Am gonna wear it tmr and I hope I can pull off the colour matching to my outift... Else, I'm gonna look pretty weird I guess...

Okay, off to check the wardrobe & try to match accessories and overall outfit to the shoes.... =)

New Hobby!!!

Have been sorta into this new hobby for some months oredi... Yes, it is kite-flying!!!! The first actual experience was at West Coast park, wif The bff+BF & group of his friends... All of us were kinda "green" at it & were running around frantically (like crazy bunch of kids), while trying to get our kites to soar!!! But end up, epic FAIL man!!! But was damn hilarious can! Cos it seemed like the whole field, we were the only ones who DID the RUNNING around!! Funi!! -_-"

Then the guys started to explore, learn & figure out and suddenly, they were all like semi-pros after a few outings!!!

And then me & bff got our own single-line kite too!!! I chose this, cos I love the multi-colours and chose this shape cos they said it should be rather easy to fly??? But wasn't really quite that easy cos it's tail was pretty "heavy", so need strong wind to get it up & soaring!!! =)

Okay, this is my kite-flying one-third-of-a-mentor!!! Why I said one-third?? Cos the other two-thirds are The bff's BF & Bro-Lon!!! This mentor (below in the pic) damn funi de... He said, to successfully fly the kite, one of the most impt thing (other than strong wind), is to have a 1.8m TALL "stand"!!! LOL!!! But it's really proven to be pretty useful ok... Haaa....Look at the kites in the sky!!! Ain't they all just look so nice!!!!!! This was taken at West Coast Park... But was still nothing comparable to the amount of kites at the Marina Barrage (our now FAV kite-flying venue)!!! ;)
Don't you think my kite looks so much like a cobra with the LED lights fixed to the tip of it!!! =p

Marina Barrage is windy, have great views of The Sands & Flyer as well... One of the best place for kite-flying and that's why, it's SOOO crowded..... My kite looks like it's luminous in the night sky!!! I didn't fix on LED lights, it's just that the kite happens to be flying at where the spotlights were shining at!! Nice ya???

And then the guys started to get tired of the single line kite and went into Stunt Kites! Tried it a couple of times, pretty hard to control and just doesn't seemed to be able to get a hang of it... and the bad thing is that it can get damaged easily if you didn't know how to 'land' it well.... Dun wanna risk spending the $$ and getting it damaged, especially when I'm SO clumsy! =X

So the other alternative is...... to get a Power Kite!!!! Easier to play and NOT easy to be damaged!!! Am so exicted cos i'm gonna be getting one soon, hopefully by weekend, so that I can play with it!!!!!

I'd wanted to get this one (in the above pic), but was told that it's not really suitable for me as this is more like for really beginner, beginner... So I guess the better option is to get a more 'challenging' one... And that, shall be decided by tmr!!!!

On another note, another "new" thing i'm into, as I have already mentioned in my earlier post, is my part-time business marketing course.... So far am 3 weeks into the lessons... It's really pretty enriching and interesting... I've already learn alot, but is really just too much to be absorped and digested... And now I'm starting to worry about my 3 assignments that will be due in abt a month+ later.... *gulp* It's really pretty tiring to be working and studying at the same time, while making time for some fun & relacing activities too!!! Well, we all still ought to have a work(& study)-life balance right!!! Hahahahaha... OMG!!! And it's again, so late already... No wonder my eyes are like shutting!!! Time to hit the sack!!! =D

Tsumani in Japan.... How it affects ppl GLOBALLY...

We switch on the tv, we see news about the disaster in Japan... Login FB & Twitter, we see updates about the Japan calamity... It affects all of us, one way or another, somehow or rather... My bff, has her 1st Japan holiday trip booked for 26th Mar & now is in a dilemma of whether to still go ahead or not... Sigh... Poor Japan, pity those ppl who are there right now.... Hope everything will be fine for them soon.... Alright, enuf of it, ain't gonna cont'd on & on & on about it when half the Globe are already talking about it...

2 weeks since I started my part-time course... Stress is the only thing I can relate to... So many things that I dun understand, since I've been outta the "studying-world" for more than 5 yrs... Brain is rusty... Hate it... Everyone else in the class seemed to understand everything except me... So much to catch up on.... Arrrrggghhhh!!!! Pls give me the strength & perserverence to go on, k.... You are my strength now!!!!! =)

On a side note, I had quite an enjoyable holiday trip to HK/Macau last month... Mainly becos of the company, as well as the great food feast & satisfying shopping-spree!!!!! I can't wait for my next holiday, coming up in mid-Apr, Co. trip to Taipei again (just went there last Nov with The Bff...)!!! But guess I won't be able enjoy as much, as I would still have my studies to worry about... Assignments due in April, exam in May!!! Can I fast-forward to after mid-May oredi!!!! =(

Gosh!!! So late already!!! Well, now I've gotta decide whether to stay up to do my homework, or to go sleep & hope to wake up earlier to go work... So much work to do too.... Am so tired, tired, tired tired..... ZZzzZZZzzzzzzzzzz

National Geographic Magazine released a video clip, below, showing the most “typical” human face on the planet as part of its series on the human race called “Population 7 billion.”

The researchers conclude that a male, 28-year-old Han Chinese man is the most typical person on the planet. There are 9 million of them.

The image above is a composite of nearly 200,000 photos of men who fit that description.

Don’t get used to the results, however. Within 20 years, the most typical person will reside in India.

CNY is over, like in the blink of an eye! Been so busy, still.... Next month would be worse as I'm gonna start my part-time studies already.... *stress* but luckily classes are only on 2 weekdays... I still have the rest of the week + weekend to rush assignments + relax & have fun... =P I still wish for more than 24hrs everyday as I really don't seem to have enuf time!??!?! Am so outdated on posts, photos etc... Didn't even have time to update on January's activities... =X

GOSH!!! It's past 2.30am ALREADY!!! And I'm still not finish packing my luggage for my HK/Macau holiday trip!!!!!! This year's CNY seemed to have arrived so soon!!! (But I think next year's might be earlier, should be end Jan??) It just seemed not too long ago that X'mas and Countdown celebrations were over and it's CNY celebrations oredi!?!?!? I guess it could be that the older you get, the faster time seems to FLASH by??? Scary much!!! Not that I'm afraid of getting old, but just afraid of NOT having enuf time to do alot of things.... =X Anyways, it's CNY eve and my wonderful mum has already got reunion dinner's stuffs ready!! Starting dinner early this year, at around 5pm!! And i'm still struggling to concentrate on getting my DIY-nail-colour done!! LOL... Think I should not let myself get distracted by the lappy, else I won't even be ready for dinner in another hour's half time!!!! Okay, let's quickly get this post done! =)

Already got 3 'Ang-Pow' for this CNY, 2 of which are courtesy from The Colleagues who are going on holiday during this CNY period (one to Europe & another to Japan! So Shiok lor!)....

Went down to WM Sakae with GC earlier to collect the 'Yu-Sheng' for tonight!! Been having 'Yu-Sheng' from Sakae for the past few years already... It's reali quite nice!! =)

A path I have chosen many many months ago, still affects me.... But not many knows the reason why I chose it that way... How many would actually understand anyways...... SOOOOO......你不知道我为什么狠下心, 还悬在你看不见那高空里... 多的事, 你不知道的事.....

I always wish for some "magical" things to happen to me, to my life.... How I wish I can get some "magic dust", blow them like this and get some nice wishes granted.......

17days since 2011 started...

OMG!! It''s again more than 10 (long) days since my last post where I summed up on 2010!?!?!? Days seemed to ZOOM by so fast.... Too fast that I barely accomplished much and another day passed.... Sometimes I really wished I have more than 24hrs each day!!!

2010 was OVER, like in the blink of an eye! Bad memories, great memories... Bad experiences, great experiences... Devastation, sorrow, miseries.... Happiness, merriment, contentment, excitement... Lost some, gain lots.... So So So many drastic things happen, ALL in just a matter of months.... These months changed me alot, really alot... Mainly about my perception in life... About appreciating how simple things like freedom of doing things I like, being wif lotsa great ppl, can bring so much joy and making life much more meaningful and fulfilling....

Okay, that aside... This year CNY seems to come like REAL soon too.... Cos it's just the 1st week of Feb!! OMG, so much things undone!! Well, but at least I managed to pack my clothings, bags & shoes bit by bit over weekends! And yea, I'm DONE wif my new year clothings/shoes shopping!!! So you see, that's the good thing about buying clothings abit every now and then... So when CNY is coming, just need to unpack them, wash and sort them out!

Packed my shoes...... Abit here & there... Simply no place to store them anymore & I still kept buying... Always being nagged by mum & sisters.... Oops!!! But that doesn't stop me from buying more you know!! LOL...

Bags... Not as much as the shoes (luckily)... But still, that's about the space available to store them....

How I wished I could have storage spaces like this........ Much much easier to find my shoes and bags, especially when I rushing for time to go work every morning.... =X

The accessories ain't any better... Hanging more and more and more as time goes by.... And it's taking up space in my wardrobe too.... But same as shoes & clothings, accessories WILL NEVER be enuf de lah!!! Wahahahaha....

If only I have the space to get these shelves to store all my accessories..... -_-

But nonetheless, am damn glad I'm done with the packing!!! Heeee... Now what's left is to clean and re-arrange the shelves full of ornaments/bottles/photo frames/trophies, probably a week before CNY bah.....

Anyways, lately me & frens are into this new, healthy & supa-fun activity!!! KITE-FLYING!!!! Our first attempt at West Coast Park was failure, extreme... And we all ran around like crazies, trying to get the kites up... NO ONE else there did tat except our group.. Dumb or wat?!?!?!? Haaaaaa... Hilarious much!!!! So last weekend, we got "smarter", we went to Marina Barrage!!! It was damn crowded, but windy enough luh!!!!

See those 'small dots' in the sky??? They are ALL kites!!!!!!

And this, is my kite!!!! Think it should be almost 80cm in width?? And the tail is long and heavy lo... So difficult to get my kite up and I almost gave up then Gum came to the 'rescue' and got my kite soaring up in the sky within ten mins!!!! Now I keep thinking about when the next kite-flying session would be.... But too bad, this weekend no time for that cos there's another more interesting activity for this weekend!!!! Weekend batam getway wif the parents, sis+bf & bffs!!!! Am sooo looking fwd to the massage, the feasting, the boozing & most imptly, the great fun we'll have together!!!! =D

January is indeed already such a busy month.... And the months ahead will be even busier!!! *Stressed* Am gonna find time to update more soon!!! ;)

Great Christmas 2010!

Boxing day's over... But well, most of my X'mas pressies were oredi opened on X'mas eve.... =) This year's X'mas had been great! Just as great this year's birthday celebrations.... Gave out LOTSA pressies (almost 60 of them!!) Received lotsa great pressies this year as well... One of the pressies was actually one of the best & most valuable tat i've ever rec'd in my whole lifetime up til now... Am really appreciative and thankful to that 'person'! =)
This year, I was packed with lotsa activities in December, with 2 weddings, a few birthdays and many X'mas lunches/ dinners/ gatherings.... Tired but happy... In this sense, i've 'Lose some but gained alot'!! Lose lotsa sleep, but gained losta fun and joy!!

Had a pre-Xmas luncheon cum gift exchange on the 17th with the littlemisscheeky-cousie at Illuma, Chef Daniel's kitchen! First time there to try the lunch set, which is pretty value-for-$$, 3-course meal (soup, main course, dessert) for $10.50! The food's not bad also nah.... Thanks cousie, for the sweet pressie you gave... =)

And on the 18th, we had an advanced X'mas dinner-cum-gift-exchange and advanced bday celebration for mummy!

For our gift exchange! Think there should be 20 gifts...

And not forgetting a family photo! =)

Then on the 21st, 'er jie' organised a pre-Xmas gathering dinner and we went to Brotzeit @ Vivo... Yummy food and beer + great chatting session wif the sistas! Thank you sistas for the nice Xmas pressies... Dajie got us chocolates from Awfully Chocolate, Erjie got us towel set from Taka & Xiaomei got me a nice necklace! Anyways, hope the sistas liked wat I got for them! =)

This year, with new 'members' to our PCS Team, our gift exchange seems more exciting... haaaa... given out and recevied some reali nice gifts from the colleagues... Thks to the nice colleagues and to the ex-colleague who gave me a pair of self-made earrings... =) Some of the pressies rec'd.... Most of my pressies are still in the office, with gift wrappers on... Gotta take those to be brought home, by 'batches' tmr onwards... heeee....

On X'mas eve, only half-work-day... So went to meet the ex-colleague, winnilicious, at Far East Sq, for a short drink after work.... Thks to her, for the bling-bear-necklace... Glad she liked the gifts I got her....

After that I met up with the bff at my office building and took cab over to Ms Tan's house to await for the rest to come, for our Xmas gathering dinner & gift exchange! Lucky or wat, I got back my own gift I got the the gift exchange and I totally dun mind getting it back anyways... LOL... And guess what, I got a bottle of bird's nest for the gift exchange!!! Haaaa.....It was a fun night at Ms Tan's place.... Had so much fun & laughter playing card games and forfeiting on booze!!

Headed down to West Coast Park to join the other-gang of peeps for some pinic-ing! Haaa.... Went to have some fun with the flying-fox thingy with the gals.... It was really fun lor... We were like big little kids!!! =p

On Xmas day, it was a pretty packed day too... Woke up in the aftnn and headed out to Marina with GC & Dun to meet an old friend for kopi... And while we were there, I reckon I should check out the shops for abit of shopping and guess what? I saw SALES!!! So I bought 2 pairs of red heels, a pair of gray heels, a pair of red slippers and a red bag in another shop, all within 20mins! I've always wanted to get red shoes and I got 3 pairs in one shot! Plus a red bag (which I've eyed & checked out for more than 3 times before I finally bought it!).... CNY is just barely 2mths later so the REDs are just nice for the occasion!

Went to AMK to bring grandma out for her advanced bday dinner at 'Tian-Wai-Tian".. Happy Birthday Grandma!
After dinner had to rush over to Ms Sin's place to join them for the Xmas gathering.. Tired much, but was glad to get together again... Watched some movies, had some booze, some chatting and off to the Home to rest.....

Christmas gatherings were more or less done with.... It was a really really great Xmas... And now to look fwd to the New Year's countdown party at Ms Sin's place again... more food, wine, champange, beer!!! And most importantly, the FUN we're gonna be having!!!

Less than 10 days to X'mas!! Yay!! I love X'mas simply becos it's a season for sharing love, joy and pressies!!!! I've oredi bought like 40 over gifts and counting... But it's fun!!

And X'mas is the time where we get to see all those beautifully lighted & decorated X'mas trees!!!

And NOT forgetting, the different logcakes we'll get to eat!!! And many X'mas luncheons & dinners too!! Othen than CNY, X'mas is also the period where I indulge into too much good food & end up putting on weight!!! LOL...

This December has been a really really busy month for me... Busier than past years becos I have 2 important weddings, and both happening this weekend!!

I'm gonna be one of the 'sistas' (aka 'Jie Mei') for AG's wedding on Sunday... So excited! This would be my 6th or 7th time, but well, IT IS FUN lah!! I love attending weddings! And I definitely enjoy being a 'Jie Mei' cos we can have lotsa fun during the gate-crashing!!! Muahahahaha....

Anyways, 2010 is ending soon and a great 2011 is waiting ahead for me, for us all!! Busy month, busy busy busy... Haaa... Don't even have much time to update my blog, even FB!!! LOL... Still got losta pressies not wrapped!! Gahhhh... Time is SO not enuf!! =X

Time really flies!!! It's like in a blink of eye, DECEMBER liaoz!!! 2010 is ENDING oredi!!!! And i still have so much unfinished things to do and yet just too busy with too many activities in Dec!!! Just had 2 bday celbrations, 1 more latera few catch-up sessions, 2 weddings, mummy's bday, X'mas dinners/celebrations, another couple of bdays and then new year's celebration!!!!

Anyways, this year wasn't exacly a very smooth and great year for me, but it wasn't too bad a year for me too..... So much have happened this year... So much UPs & DOWNs, so much unhappiness and even more happiness (lucky me!)....

There's the saying "gain some, lose some" and also "you can lose it all, but never lose wat u learnt from it".... Failure makes us try harder.. What doens't kill us, makes us stronger!!!

I've lost some very very important things in life, but at the same time, I gained alot of very important things...

Anyways, I guess in life, we're bound to go thru' some tough periods to make us realised and appreciate the great things ard us....

And this, I'm blessed enuf to have, alot of them in fact... My great family, bffs, buddies, old/new friends etc etc..... =D

Well well.... no matter what, this is still a very important thing in our lives.... Dun try to hard to seek for it... Let it seek you... Fate and destiny, it's all meant to be... If it is, it will be and if it's not, it will NEVER be.... ;)

Okay, so in the meantime, let's not think too much, just be this.......

Come on, life is too SHORT to be unhappy, miserable, pathetic, grouchy, etc etc etc....... Just be happy, when you feel happy, people around you will feel it too and they will then feel happy.... I have never been more fun-lovin' than I ever am, right now... Perhaps sometimes, ppl have to go thru' certain things before they can actually 'open up' or simply say 'see-open'... LOL....

Well for me, i've definitely have a different perspective of life right now, after these few months.... It's never too short/long a time to change, for better or for worst, it's the same... It's just about getting the right mindset about life, about things.....

So loosen up abit, once in awhile let ur hair down, have fun, relax, chill, eat, drink, make merry, or do whatever that can make you HAPPY!!! Cheers!!! =)

Learnt something new today, while at the same time, realised one of my greatest FEAR!!! I OFFICIALLY have OBESOPHOBIA!!! And I'm sure there're many others who're the same.... =X

I'm such a GLUTTON and I really LOVE eating nice food!!! Too bad as you aged, your METABOLISM rate DROP tremendously!!! But everyone will SUFFER this 'fate', but I DO!!!! Sad much!!!

BUT BUT BUT BUT..... What to do right?? It's just too hard to resist TEMPTATIONS!!!

Well well, I choose "TASTY"!!!! *both hands & legs wave up in the air*

Life is just too short to miss out on all the yummilicious food!!! Just remember to let your stomach & body rest once in awhile, with the healthier choices of food, and best if you have the determination to EXERCISE!!!! Well, I dun have much, but I do FORCE myself to JOG, sometimes.... =P

5th Oct: Met up for lunch @ Mont Calone wif Ced, the BEST ex-colleague-turned-buddy & he gave me a pressie nicely wrapped wif pink wrapper & cute ribbon! Srsly, I still didn't know what he gave me as the wrapping is so nice that I can't bear to unwrap it! Haaaa!!!!

The generous treat from The Bosses @ Captial Twr, China Club, with the Admin Gals!! We got a private room & had a great view while enjoying the sumptous lunch!!! My Boss was so cute lor, order "Shou Tao" for me!! LOL.... My other Boss, lagi cuter... Went to buy the famous banana-pie as my bday cake!! But it's REALLY YUMMILICIOUS!!!! =p

Some of the colleagues decided to buy me drinks @ this nice bar opposite our office building... I was made to down a 'submarine' & another 'I-forgot-wat-it-is-already' drink, on top of the 2 glasses of wine! =)

And not forgetting these useful Tangs Shopping Vouchers from my lovely Admin gals... And a generous dinner treat (on actual day-7th Oct) from the BEST "uncle PBT", at 'No Signboard' Vivo, after our movie session!!!

My birthday falls on a work-day so was given off-day, which was a Thursday... So... Naturally.... It's MAMBO-nite for the Bday celebration, just like last year!!! But this year was "quieter", not many ppl made it for the MAMBO-nite Party, but nonetheless, really appreciate those who took time to come & join in the FUN!! Time seems to FLY EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! They always say, "time past by so quickly when ya having lotsa fun..." or probably "lotsa WORK to do..."!!! =X

Anyways, October was a SUPER busy month for moi... Moi bday (enjoyable much), cousie's wedding (a beautiful wedding), godma's bday (yummy buffet dinner), PCS Conf (tiring but great-shopping-&-clubbing-fun), flea mkt (lousy experience, bad flea organiser), Halloween party (crazy fun) etc..... November is gonna be JUST as busy... So is December!!! But I take it that it's a good thing, cos it just means that there's just lotsa activities going on!!! Yay! =P

And I have so so so so many photos that I haven't had the time to post!!!! And now i've only got time to post some photos, as I really need to go to bed real soon... Had just finished packing luggage and gotta wake up at 530am... I'm gonna go Taipei for a short holiday with The BFF!!! Excited or what!!! =D

But too bad couldn't spend more days there, just 4 days, but it's still good enuf!! If it's fun, i'm sure there's chance to go back again!!!!

This Saturday is a long & busy day for moi!!! Flea Market at SCAPE Youth Park from 1pm to ard 7pm, then gotta rush to meet my friends to make-up & prepare for the Halloween Party at ZOUK!! Yay! Excited much luh!!! Cos I missed the fun at the Party with them as I was holiday-ing in BKK!!!! So this year, all geared up, our "uniform" collected, ideas confirmed... We're gonna drink, dance, act crazy, drink, dance, act crazy.... till we all crash!!!!! =P

Went to my first http://peacetamy.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html! But only 4 of us went & I left early cos I couldn't take the crowd!! =X But this is DEFINITELY not gonna happen this year! I'll gonna party till 'lights-on' (unless knock-out)!!! LOLsss...

That year, Bff-Jo dressed as cow-boy, bff-Cla as cow-gal, bff-Che as he-devil and moi, as a corpse-bride... I look damn hideous can, plus FAT!!! OMG!!! I still can't believe I dare to walk out of the house looking like this!!!! =X I look so scary that even bff-Jo is SO terrified!!! Muahahahaha... Funi...

First ever PCS Conf. 2010 outstation - BKK

At this same time 24hrs later, i had BETTER be asleep as I've to be up by ard 450am to get ready to proceed to the airport to ZOOT off to Bangkok, for our FIRST EVER overseas conference. Well, 3D2N short getaway with conference on Saturday itself.

I worked SO hard to plan, organise and coordinate this whole trip so I DEMAND for more time-off for myself in BKK, to INDULGE in shopping, eating, mani/pedi, massages & hair services! Afterall, I totally deserve it! Mwahahahahahaha!!!
Okay, our trip includes a Team dinner at one of the local-touristy-seafood-restaurant and thou' the food is probably nothing compared to the seafood I had during my trip to BKK last year (as shown in the below pic), but I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad either (hopefully)... -_-"

Oh and I reali miss the Coca there!!! And the Tom Yam Kung!!! Yummy yummy!!! Gosh I'm so almost gonna salivate all over the laptop keyboard while writing this post! =p

And lastly, NOT forgetting to booze, booze, booze!!! It's a holiday right, so gotta relax & enjoy!!!!

Gosh!!! I'm feeling so so so so tired right now!! Just finished packing abit of the stuffs for the trip.. I should've started packing earlier but I ended up sorting/packing stuffs for next Saturday's flea market! And YES, the flea market at SCAPE Youth Park that is happening NEXT SAT 30th Oct from noon onwards! I've signed up for a booth, to share wif my cousie who just got married & is trying to 'clear away some new but unwanted stuffs', while I, am trying to 'clear away some impulsively bought or ill-fitted stuffs' and most importantly, to go there and have fun! LOLx!

Ok, more details of the flea market (like what exactly you'll find at our booth etc...) when I'm back from Bangkok after Sunday. Right now I just needa go SLEEP cos i've a very-busy-work-day later! Till then.... Gdnite & have a happy week! Cheers! =D

Why does it seem like i never have enough time to do SOOOOO many things??? I guess a big part could be that I'm lazy??? Or simply a slacker?!?!?! LOL....

Aiyo, i really have like alot alot of "unfinished" stuffs but simply shelving them all the time!!!! And in another few hrs time, i've to be up for work!!! =[

But I'm so glued to the desk & chair and typing away on my blog while uploading pictures from my birthday celebrations onto my facebook, and watching S.A.T.C at the same time!!! How "multi-tasking" can I get! =p

Okay, i'm freaking out... I'm feeling so damn hungry right now!!! It feels so shitty you know.. To keep wanting to eat, then eat alot alot alot and then get so worried about the extra pounds i'm (oredi) putting on!!! And to make things worst, my appetite just keeps GROWING.. REALLY!!! And THIS IS serious!!! =/

Alrightey, nevermind... Let's just not worry too much now and I should just get to SLEEP!!!!! And I better hope I can get up earlier tmr (which I strongly doubt so...) so that I will get to work on time!!

Here we are, complaining about the expensive cab fares and time taken to travel e.g. from Changi to Serangoon or Jurong West to Sengkang etc, for our bf/gf...... -_-" Well, i've been through a L-D-R too... Went to Ritz Carlton for the English High Tea, with sis, her bf and her poly friends...

Not much variety, but they're all YUMMY!!! I esp love the Parma Ham bun!!!! =D And then.... there was the impromptu plan of the day... My sis bf planned a surprise wedding proposal.... With the help of sis poly frens and a little bit of help from me too... LOL

It was quite hilarious, but reali sweet moment for both of them...

Cheers to the joyous occasion!!!!

May Jas & Jer lead a peaceful and blissful life together... I shall look forward to the BIG DAY soon, but then it'll still be... abt 2yrs later!!! =p

1st 3D Movie Experience - The Last Airbender

Went to watch The Last Airbender earlier at GV-Bishan.. K insisted on watching it in 3D (thou' reviews are that it's not worth), so we booked tix for the 3D show! This is actually my FIRST TIME, yes, FIRST TIME in my adult-life, watching a 3D movie on the BIG screen!!! Was pretty excited thou'... =D

Okay, turns out, 3D show was reali not bad lor!! But too bad, this show doens't have much scenes with graphical effect and all that (like that of Avatar etc), so most of the time, it's just that you're seeing the people and things in a "larger & nearer to you" version.

Overall, this show is good.. And i'm sure there'll be the sequels coming out soon, hopefully not having to wait too long, like "Storm Riders" (approx. 10yrs)... LOL!!!

Okay, I will definitely go watch another 3D movie, but haven't really decide which is a more worthy one thou'... Any suggestions pls???

Kei & Andrea went there to "support" their friend, Sin Huey... while me & PL, went for fun... =)

Attendees were all given this "paw sticker"...

Dawn Yang was the Emcee for the event and Sin Huey was the Guest singer...

She sang 3 songs that nite... She's got a really great voice!!

Overwhelming response of ppl, queuing up to take pic with Sin Huey...

Andrea & Kei took a pic wif her... Me & PL took with her too, but not sure why it was not uploaded by the photographer.. Maybe the pic we took not nice bah...

Attendees each received a "goodie bag", with a Carlo Rino purse in it...

Overall, it was quite an interesting event (mainly due to being entertained with the great singing by Sin Huey)... When the event was over, Andrea & Kei brought us to the upstairs changing room to take pic with Sin Huey.. Wonder when will we see that pic since it was not taken wif our cam.... =/

First time as "Tour Guide" to HCM!

I've been to Ho Chi Minh thrice already, since 2007, like once a year... and now in 2010 is my 4th time... But this time, I'm bringing my parents & elder sis, all whom have NEVER been to HCM at all!!!! I'm gonna be their so-call "tour guide", probably quite a lousy one bah... LOL...

Well, I've already asked some friends who are "regulars" there, and also based on the memories of the places there which I've been, to create an itinerary for our 4days there! I just hope the language barrier is not gonna posed too big a problem for us!!! =X

Motorists practically take up 70% (???) of the roads there... And seems to me that the vehicles there move in ALL sort of DIFFERENT directions on the same road... And crossing roads is the MAJOR problem I will face.... *gulp*

But that doesn't deter me from looking forward to going to the place.... and it's becos of the arrays of CHEAP & SUMPTUOUS FOOD!!!!!!!!!

I hope my parents & sis will have an enjoyable time there. with me as their "tour guide"!!! I really hope that everything will go smoothly and safely, and that we can all have an unforgettably fun time there!! =)

Okay, in another 12hrs time, we'll be leaving on a (jet)plane.... Away from this place which has recently kinda made me feel pretty moody.... =X
4days, to let me have some time away to "clear my head"... And hopefully when I come back, I'll again, be the same "happy-go-lucky-and-nothing-can-make-me-upset" gal!! Wish me luck!!! Till then... Cheers!!!! ;D

S'pore Blog Awards 2010 - 10 July

Attended the Singapore Blog Awards, that is held at St James Movida, for the first time!!! Brought Ms PL, who is free to company me, to the event together... Registration starts from 4pm onwards and by right supposed to meet Ms PL at 410pm outside St James, but end up both were late... I reached ard 420 & Ms PL only reached at 440pm!! She was so late.... becos her friend called her at a last minute notice to visit Universal Studio!!! Poor PL. went in for only about an hour, took one ride only and have to rushed out to meet me... LOL...

And so we went in... The place wasn't as crowded or packed as I expected... But ppl were still coming in at that time....

I have no idea who the host was (sorry), but she was reali great... So fluent in both English and Mandarin & she has really done a great job for the event!!!

Silver Ang and several others who were nominated for the best modelling blog: Bong Qiu Qiu, Kanny Theng, Yutaki, etc, were there for the event... I think only Ms XS didn't turn up?!?!?!? =p

Silver kept everyone entertained by performing a couple of songs!!! She sang really well and she was really sweet & friendly.... There was this contest going on where each of us were give 3 "Like" stickers at the entrance & the selected few "finalist" would walk ard for us to choose whether to "Like" them or not... Our only choice, Silver Ang, cos she's definitely the most outstanding of them all... We asked her to take photos with us and she gladly obliged... So nice of her... =)

And guess what, the INFAMOUS Steven Lim was there too & somehow one of the finalist & went ard the whole place "PULLING" for votes... Duhzzzz... During the event, he was standing infront of me & PL and we were rather "irritated" by him already.... He was with these 3 gals, who rather looks like Chinese Nationals, and my friend overheard him saying to the 3 of them in mandarin: "Hey, you 3 are here to support me right, so you stick all your "Like" stickers on me lah"!!! It's so damn OMG lor!!!!! *rolls eyes & faints* But looking at his actions, the way he behaved & talked, one word "hilarious"!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL

Oh ya, heard that Ris Low was present at the event too.... But too bad never see her... And no wonder Silver, while on stage, mentioned something about her "boomz hairdo"!!! Hahahahahaha...

Anyways, didn't take much photo with PL as we were busy standing at a corner & watching the event.... But when the main awards were given out already, ppl start dispersing or going for breaks, so we managed to sit down for a little rest & took a couple of shots... My sister's cam is so so so bright that taking pic at near distance creates this "too-bright" effect... But we liked it anyways cos it makes our "flaws hidden", esp for me, when you compare my above pics with Silver... LOLxxx

Overall, it was quite a great experience for both me & PL.... We definitely won't mind attending next year's SBA again!!! =)

Today is my Boss birthday and he decided that we should go for lunch at Tower Club!!!! Finally, my very first time there!!!! We went for the Chinese cuisine, which is on the 63rd storey (if i dun rem wrongly??)....

The cutlery are all VERSACE one can!!!!!

The food's not too bad... The venison meat with ee-fu noodles is the most tasty to me... The venison meat is oh so tender, abit like beef lidat!!!
And it's actually NOT reali that ex lah... about $58++ per pax for their set lunch....

Gosh!!! So fast, it's June oredi?!?!?!?!? What??? Half a year has just zooooommmmmmed by!!!!! Time seems to be passing by faster & faster & faster when you get older...=X

So much things have happened within this one month... Both good & bad.... But apparently, i've been living an even more fruitful life, I would say, within this month itself!! Naise... =D

But still I've lotsa undone stuffs... Like sort out my April HK Trip photos, BFFs' birthday outings photos, Gerald's birthday dinner outing & Batam trip photos!!!

Woooooohhh, so many things to do, so little time... And I'm so lack of sleep too... But nonetheless, I'm happy everyday.... And this is what is most important!!! =)

Yes, I am still ALIVE... So whatever bad things that have ever happened, has already happened as a matter of fact... Thou the scar is for life, but.... what's done, cannot be undone.. Embrace it, move on & learn to be a strong, better person...

Many many years later on the 7th of a particular month in a particular year, I entered a 'new chapter' of my life....

On this 7th day of this month, this year, I am 'tasked' to start a 'new life' ahead.. Not exactly by choice, but wasn't that reluctant as well...

7, SEVEN, 七.... You are such an important figure in my life......

No matter what lies ahead from this 7th onwards.... face it, embrace it, endure it, take it positively, accept it gracefully...

For there are just so much more in life, that it's not just about oneself... Learn to be gracious, magnanimous, kind, helpful, cheerful, happy, bring joy to others so that you would to yourself...

People make mistakes, people do wrong, people fail... but this is just human.. What's important is to learn the lesson of it, accept it, move on, change and I mean change for the better, improve oneself...

We only live once, don't let time pass you by wastefully, then regret it... There's no turning back of time....
