Batam Harris - weekend getaway!! (4-5 Jul)

Outdated post again!!! Weekend Batam getaway!!!! Went to KTM resort in Feb and this time went to try Harris resort...

At Harbourfront, waiting to board ferry.... so many ppl going to Batam lor....
On the ferry... They all wanna sit at the outdoor area cos they wanna smoke.... the weather so hot lor... But then again, I think it's better to sit outside instead of the air-con area...

What are they doing siah.... Look at both their expression!!!!! Damn funi lor!!!!

We have reach!!!!!!

We gotta queue so so so so long to check-in lor.... so damn crowded!!!! So many ppl... Sianz...

This is the resort main section, where it's all the hotel-rooms style de....

We 'upgraded' to the Cabana Room.. They are away from the main resort and it's a stand-alone house kind... The exterior looks rather old, but inside was okay....
The bed, decorated with flowers made into a heart shape.. Specially for 'honey-mooners'.. LOL
The toilet... Not bad lah... The roof are full glass de wor.... Can see planes/birds flying by... But it's really really hot lor.... At night was okay though... So dark also can't see anything outside...
Got balcony some more... which is linked to the other room de.... We were playing cards out here at night.. But got mosquito de... and was damn hot, so we shifted to the room....
This is the main entrance to our units. 2 units share 1 such entrance.... Behind this door is a small small corridor where we enter through the doors to our units.. Our doors are opposite facing to each other....
This is the so-call 'beach view' we get.... No one goes down to the 'beach' de lor... anyway, it's not safe to do so..... boring....
The lunch buffet.... We were hungry but there was nothing much to have for lunch so we went to the resort restaurant for their buffet lunch... Expensive and not nice de..... :( Nothing much to do so went bowling lor..... Check out the rented bowling shoes!!! Hit the swimming pool!!! Best thing at the Harris resort!!!! We spent so much time at the pool.... After a couple of hours in the hot hot hot sun, went back for a shower and decided to remove my already fading air-brush tattoo and this is what I get!!! I got so so so tanned... Even now the mark is still there.... Heee..... Time for our 'candlelight dinner', which is included in our package..... Heee....
See this cute little kitty... We were having dinner when it starting coming over to our table... It looks so cute and hungry..... So I fed it with some of our food.... And what happen next........... They are all so cute..... and hungry.... They ate practically anything that we fed them!!! Poor little kitties....The dinner was not bad.... We had barbeque food.... The barbeque prawns and crabs was nice... But very little... So I wasn't reali full from dinner.... Best part is they have a band walking around, singing love songs to all the 'honey-mooners'.... LOL Check out the kitty's eyes!!!!!!
After dinner, went back to our rooms to have our beer and played some card games... After many cans of beer, started acting cranky.... LOL.. And the whole night, the power tripped at least 5 times!!! Damn spoiler.... -_-"
The breakfast... Not very nice as well.... Time for our massage and spa!!!! Nothing fantastic... Din reali enjoy it... :(

Went to the Korean restaurant at the beach resort for lunch.... Expensive and not nice!!!

Had sushi which are 'warm' de lor..... luckily the fish wasn't like not fresh....


After lunch.... Time to check out and head down to the ferry terminal to take the ferry back to Singaopre... This pic was taken while we were on the ferry, leaving Batam... Far away, is one of their 'popular beach' where most ppl spend their weekend having fun!!! Probably can't see clearly but the whole beach is full with ppl!!!!!!
Bye bye Batam... I will be back.... But maybe to try another resort next time.... -_-
