Dream-Catcher
I'm always having dreams when I sleep. So every night seemed long for me, but hardly do I ever really get to rest my mind cos my "dream-factory" doesn't quite stop working. And I do have quite a significant amount of bad dreams. How worse can that be....
And so, I decided to get a Dreamcatcher.
I got this while I was on my Company Incentive Trip to BKK in April this year. Went to the new night bazaar, Asiatique to have a walk and saw one shop selling all sort of handicraft items, including a ranges of dreamcatcher. Chose this reasonable size dreamcatch and bargain till a reasonable price and there, I got it!
The Ojibwa believe that a dreamcatcher changes a person's dreams. According to Konrad J. Kaweczynski, "Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through… Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day." Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper.
Another version from the same article was, "Nightmares pass through the holes and out of the window. The good dreams are trapped in the web, and then slide down the feathers to the sleeping person."

I finally took it out to use only tonight. During my Bali trip last weekend, I bought 3 mini keychain-dreamcatcher (below pic) as well. Gave them to my lovely sistas when we met up last night.

I am so blessed to have them in my life! Luv them all! =)
On a random note, I quite like this pic GC took for me during our Bali trip.. Kinda makes me look taller and slimmer! LOL... Overall the Bali trip was alright. But I probably won't wanna go back again. Rather go Phuket/Krabi or Batam or Desaru... Well well, when am I gonna have the next holiday..... =\
