You know, it's always so hard to get a dress that fits nicely, making you look not-so-fat, especially when you are slightly overweight to begin with... *Sigh*
If only I have the determination to slim down.... *dream on*
I LOVE Travelling!! Part 2 - London & Paris
2nd LDN (working) Trip & Virgin solo (leisure) trip to Paris!
Yes, PARIS!!!! Never had I expected that I would get to visit this place so soon... Feeling thankful for the chance to do so...... Though it was just a 3-day extended vacation after working trip to LDN, it's still great to have experienced the place... But well, I'd probably not choose to go back again n the near future... But LDN, I definitely want to go back again!! =)
Went to a few places for sight-seeing, which includes Viewing @ The Shard, Big Ben, LDN Eye, LDN Bridge etc...
But the fact that London was more of a work-trip makes it not as enjoyable as it was supposed to be.. But I did had some great dining experiences (@ Burgers & Lobsters, Four Seasons, Petrus and L'Atelier de Joel) and some nice shopping, made it a nice trip overall!
I extended the trip over to Paris for a 3-day vacation. Didn't had time to really plan for the trip so all I did was book the air ticket on BA, then got the hotel and there I went, to Paris!
Through the hotel, I booked a bus ticket for a hop-on-hop-off-ride to have a tour around Paris city. Well, at least I managed to see Eiffel tower! =)
Notre Dame Cathedral
Everyone's saying how romantic Paris is. I did felt a little but not as much as the way people have been saying it. I guess it's probably due to the fact that I went alone, and unplanned! Hahaha.. But nonetheless, I'm really thankful that I've got the chance to visit this place which happens to be many peoples' "dream destination" as well!
It's overall nice, but like what some people have told me about their experience with the services, it's true, do not really expecting great service standards ya... Be thankful that they even bother to attend to you when you ask........ =X
